DuPont Petretec is a Polyester Regeneration Technology that makes polyester evergreen.	Using polyester waste Petretec "unzips" the molecules and breaks them down into DMT and Glycol.
The Petretec Process is FDA approved, so a syrup bottle can be chemically regenerated into a video tape.	Because these Monomers retain their original properties, they can be reused.
